Their parents live, fight and unfortunately some die for our safety in this country and throughout the world and this is a great way to help them by helping their children. This is a great cause. Friends of Military Children, Inc. is a non-for-profit organization,(501(c)(3)) that provides mentoring to thousands of military children throughout the states of Florida and Georgia. Founded by Elaine Capron and Leo Peeples, retired military officer, educator and child advocate, Friends of Military Children is an organization that deals with the basic needs of children whose parents are serving our country. The children of our service members need the communities’ support and Friends of Military Children is designed for that purpose.
Its mission is to provide the necessary tools to build self-esteem, self-efficiency and resist negative influences. Assist with the realization of their dreams and achieve their personal goals.
